How to Prepare for Quantum Hypnosis

The most important way to prepare for a session is from the moment you have decided to schedule an appointment is to have a clear and direct communication with the part of you that is able to provide healing and information. That part of you is your Higher Self. Say to yourself “I have a clear and direct communication with my Higher Self.” Note the tense of this sentence, it’s not “I will have,” it’s “I have.”
You can then repeat this intention silently or out loud throughout your day and most importantly, right before you go to sleep at night. Put a note on your bathroom mirror to remind you to focus upon your intention as you brush your teeth and prepare for bed. You will want to prepare a list of questions and concerns. Your facilitator will ask you to write your questions on paper and provide them at your appointment. Of course, they can be modified them when it’s time for your session.
Make a List:
Neatly hand write the list or print it out on the computer so your questions can be easily read during the session. Also, put these questions and concerns in the order of importance as we may not be able to address them all. Some clients have one question or issue of concern, while others have dozens. It really does not matter how many you come up with as long as you put them in order of importance.
What kind of questions do people ask?
I provide a variety of holistic healthcare services throughout Essex as well as online. Different therapies can and do have different goals for every client. However, the general rule is to ask personal questions or keep topics related to your personal life. Here are a few examples.
- I have had asthma since birth. Why? Can it be healed?
- I am in a new love relationship. Is this person the right one for me?
- I really dislike my job and would like to quit and find a new one. Should I?
- I have a difficult relationship with my sister. Why is this so and can it be resolved?
- Many years ago I had something strange happen to me. (This could be a dream, vision, feeling, or experience)
- What exactly happened, and why?
- I have a lifelong interest in (name ANY subject) can we explore this in depth?
- Am I on my right spiritual path?
- Can I meet my spirit guide or guardian angel?
- Can I improve my intuitive or psychic skills? How?
- How can I create more peace or balance or abundance in my life?
Don’t worry if you have a short list as we can come up with more questions together.
Pay Attention to your Dreams Before your Appointment.
Write them down. They are messages for you and it can help with your session. If you do not already meditate, it’s a good time to start. At the very least, give yourself quiet time daily to quiet your mind chatter.
Don’t drink alcoholic and caffeinated beverages before the session or the evening before, if possible. A session will not be conducted if the client is under the influence of drugs, alcohol or any other substances that alter their state of awareness. Do not take any pills to relax you. This may jeopardize the success of the session.
Light exercise prior to your appointment, like a long walk, is an excellent way to prepare for a successful session. This is another good time to repeat your intention. We want your body relaxed, but your mind quiet, alert and engaged.
Clear your day for the session if possible. We begin by talking, going over the process, and your questions. Then you get comfortable, relaxed and we begin the actual hypnotic regression. Afterwards, we go over what was experienced and make sure you are awake and grounded. This entire process can take anywhere from 3 to 5 hours total, and occasionally even a little bit longer.
Practice relaxing prior to the session:
Just close your eyes and bring your awareness to any part of your body where there is tension. Breathe into that space until you feel the tension lessen or dissolve. Remain in that space for as long as you can, just locating any tensions until your entire body is easily and effortlessly relaxed. This practice can be useful on the day of your session, helping you to access a lovely state of relaxation.
Get a good night’s sleep:
If you meditate, do so the morning or day of your appointment to help clear your mind. If you don’t meditate, then do something that calms you like taking a nice relaxing walk, petting your pet or listening to some soothing music.
What to Eat:
Our session could go up to 5 hours or longer so you should eat well but light before you arrive for your session. You may want to pack a snack for after the session too. You will need to ground yourself after the session.
What to Wear:
Since you may be lying down for several hours, you should wear comfortable, light, loose-fitting clothes that won’t constrict your circulation or overheat you while you’re lying under a blanket. If you typically wear socks to sleep, bring a pair with you so that your feet will feel good. If you’re coming to a session after work, bring comfortable clothes to change into.
It is generally not a good idea to have additional appointments after your session, or activities that require a great deal of concentration. You should take it easy.
Having a hypnosis session is very much like participating in a long, detailed and involved daydream. You really will feel as if you have just returned from an amazing journey, having visited other worlds and lifetimes, and in fact, you will have done just exactly that. It is best to have some time to process your experience and give yourself an opportunity to fully return to your regular conscious day-to-day reality before attempting any complex mental tasks or strenuous physical activity.
Your session will consist of two parts; an interview process where I get to know you and the actual session. Your session is a private session. Even though spouses/partners/friends or your children may want to be with you to witness this amazing event, it is a place where you need to feel completely safe that your confidentiality in all matters is observed. Because of this, no one else is allowed in your session or will be permitted to stay, if you are not driving yourself, please make arrangements to have them wait until you contact them after your session in order to pick you up.
In our goal-oriented society we have been told to set goals and envision the results. This does NOT work with hypnosis. Each person’s experience will be totally unique. Your Higher Self will show you exactly what you need to know at this time in your life. Release any expectation of what you should feel like when you’re in a trance or what your session will be like. Just enjoy the experience and let the Universe take care of the details. Also please note that you will be NOT be asleep. You will be conscious. Most people DO remember all or most of their session but it’s like when you wake up from a dream and remember it vividly but then it fades away.
You will be provided a copy of your session. Listening to your session in the days, weeks and even months ahead, is an important part of the experience. Even if your conscious mind remembers the session immediately afterwards, it can, just as some dreams can, begin to fade from your memory, even if you had an “unforgettable” experience! In addition, any healing or life improvement suggestions can and will be reinforced by listening repeatedly to the audio. The goal is to have your conscious mind “get on board” and align with your Higher Self and its goals, and accept any changes or healing you intend to occur.

Your Higher Self is also able then to make a special connection to my Higher Self while listening to my voice in this excercise. Many clients report significant shifts in healing and more just by completing this first step, and making that connection! After Your Session:
You will be fully alert but deeply relaxed and find yourself in a semi to very blissful state. (Very important!) Be sure to eat something after the session so that it will ground you so bring a snack with you. Schedule the rest of your day so that after the session you won’t have activities that will require a lot of concentration or physical hard work. When you get home, upload the recording to your computer and listen to the recording. I recommend that you listen to the material at least three times (especially the part where the Higher Self is speaking) but it’s beneficial to listen to it more often than that. Listening to the recording is of utmost importance but do NOT listen to it while driving your car!
Go to sleep at your normal sleep time.
For about three days after the session the connection to your Higher Self will remain open so pay attention to your dreams because your Higher Self will find it easier to communicate with you through dreams.
Sometimes it can take some time to process everything that has happened during a session, especially when many meaningful things can happen in such a short period of time. Pay attention because important information may be coming through to you when you least expect it and you don’t want to miss it! Since the vibration of your Higher Self will also be recorded, you will continue to receive insight and self-healing any time you listen to the recording of your session.
You may feel little to no change after your holistic health session and have doubts. Please be advised that any restoration done on you by your Higher Self is done in the invisible realm and it may take time to manifest in the physical body. Any doubt, questioning, analysis, or scepticism will totally undermine and negate the work done by your Higher Self during the session. Listen to the audio recording of your session often and have total faith in the process.
